Think fast! An online magazine wants expert response to a major news story that broke today.
This is great! Now's my chance to share my expertise and reach my target customers!
True, your brand could get some much-needed attention locally and it could bring in better clients by showing thought leadership.
But wait… The magazine needs your pitch by 9:00 tomorrow morning. You have a nice headshot, but you'll need a little more to break through the pack of experts submitting quotes for the article.
This is when a nice, crisp Electronic Press Kit (EPK) or one-sheet comes in handy. They're résumés for your brand, and if done right, you'll have an edge on your competition.
Here's an example of a one-sheet that I created for the vegan, cruelty-free skincare brand Bella by Tina Foy.
I use one-sheets when pitching my clients to the media all of the time, and you should be doing it, too!
If your brand is without a one-sheet or EPK, you owe it to yourself to have one designed - even if you're not going to use a publicist to pitch you. Let's start the conversation and get you your marketing materials within 2 business days!
